Attorney Profile

Nathan Sosa is an associate attorney at Wright & Weiner. He graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas before earning his law degree at the William S. Boyd School of Law. He began working in the legal field at the age of seventeen and has gained invaluable experience in managing every aspect of a case as a paralegal, law clerk, and now an attorney.

Nathan’s knowledge of legal as well as political history gives him a unique perspective as an attorney. He believes in the sanctity of the rights and privileges guaranteed to all people under the United States and Nevada Constitutions. His work allows him to apply the principles enshrined in those documents to ensure that everyone enjoys the protection of the law regardless of their wealth, race, or gender. He knows the enormous sacrifices that have been made by our forbearers who strove to uphold the rule of law even in the most difficult circumstances. He shares the commitment of his colleagues at Wright & Weiner to thoroughly examine every aspect of the prosecution’s case to ensure that the rights of defendants are protected every step of the way.

Nathan has made it his personal mission to fight for the powerless. He has testified on numerous occasions in front of the Clark County Commission as well as the Nevada Legislature to protect the rights of animals, children, and a group of fellow citizens whose home values were threatened by a large land developer. He is also a founding member of the Animal Law Section of the State Bar of Nevada and is knowledgeable about animal-related offenses such as cruelty, dog bites, and leash law violations. Nathan’s passion for helping others has prompted him to become a youth mentor to underprivileged students through the Huellas Mentorship Program at Boyd Law School and to serve as a guest lecturer to emphasize the value of education at Valley High School and Sierra Vista High School.

Nathan’s areas of practice as a trial attorney include criminal defense, personal injury, and commercial litigation.
